Terms of Use

This notice was last reviewed on 1 August 2026.

These terms apply to your use of airflightsearch.com and to any reservation you make through it. Using the site means you accept them. If you do not, please do not use the site.

1. Who we are

AirFlightSearch (“we”, “us”) is an independent US travel agency. We arrange and issue airline tickets. We do not operate aircraft and are not affiliated with any airline. Contract of carriage is between you and the operating airline.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 and legally able to enter a binding contract. If you book for other people, you confirm you are authorised to accept these terms on their behalf and that the details you supply for them are accurate.

3. Accuracy of the information you give us

Passenger names must match the travel document that will be presented at check-in. Airlines routinely refuse travel on a mismatched name, and many fares do not permit corrections. You are responsible for the accuracy of names, dates of birth, contact details and travel document information. Costs arising from incorrect information supplied by you are yours.

4. Prices, fees and payment

Prices shown are quoted from live airline inventory and are not held until ticketing completes. A displayed price can change or become unavailable at any point before issue. Where we charge a service fee it appears as a separate line in the checkout breakdown before you confirm.

Payment is taken through PCI-compliant payment partners. We do not store full card numbers on our systems and will never request them by email, text or chat. Some transactions are held for fraud screening before ticketing; we will contact you if yours is.

5. Authorisation hold and when you are charged

When you submit a booking we verify your card and place an authorisation hold with your card issuer for the booking total. A hold is not a payment. It reserves the amount against your available balance or credit and typically shows on your statement as a pending item.

We charge the card only when your ticket is issued. If we cannot ticket your booking — the fare is gone, the airline rejects it, or we decline the booking after review — we release the hold and no payment is taken. How quickly the released amount reappears on your statement is determined by your card issuer, not by us; several business days is normal.

If your card is declined at this step, no hold is placed, no booking is created and nothing is charged. You are told immediately and can use a different card.

Authorisation holds expire if not claimed, generally after about 30 days. If a booking is still unresolved as that approaches, we will either complete it or contact you to re-authorise.

6. Ticketing

Your booking is not complete until the airline issues ticket numbers. Until then you hold a reservation request, not a ticket. If issue fails — because inventory moved, payment was declined, or the airline rejected the booking — we will tell you and refund any amount taken.

7. Changes, cancellations and refunds

What you may change and what you may recover is set by the fare rules of the ticket you bought and by the operating airline. We apply those rules; we do not set them. Our refunds and cancellations page describes how we handle requests and what fees may apply.

8. Travel documents, visas and health requirements

Passports, visas, transit permissions and health requirements are your responsibility. Requirements depend on your nationality, your route and rules that change at short notice. Being denied boarding or entry for lack of a document is not a basis for a refund from us.

9. Airline disruption

Delays, cancellations, schedule changes, diversions and denied boarding are the operating airline’s responsibility. Where we issued the ticket, we will act on your behalf to obtain re-accommodation or a refund. We cannot pay compensation on an airline’s behalf or compel it to act.

10. Limits on our liability

We are liable for our own negligence in arranging and issuing your booking. We are not liable for the acts, omissions or insolvency of an airline or other supplier, nor for indirect or consequential losses such as missed connections on separate tickets, lost earnings, or non-refundable arrangements booked elsewhere. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

11. Acceptable use

Do not scrape, mirror, overload or reverse-engineer the site, make speculative or fraudulent bookings, or use it to infringe anyone’s rights. We may cancel bookings and restrict access where we reasonably believe this clause has been breached.

12. Intellectual property

Site design, text and code are ours or our licensors’. Airline names, codes and logos belong to their owners and are used to identify the services being sold.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The version in force when you book governs that booking. Material changes will be reflected in the review date above.

14. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Kansas, USA, and the courts of Kansas have jurisdiction. Please raise any complaint with us first at [email protected] — most matters are resolved without formal proceedings.
